Just over 10 minutes to go till first class in college. Am now feeling refreshed and energised for the day ahead after having a lovely fry-up at one of my favourite greasy spoon caffs in Brixton Cafe on the Hill which is almost opposite the college. It only cost £3 for bacon, eggs, sausage, baked beans and chips. This may sound either unhealthy, fatty or too greasy for many, but for myself personally when you've had nothing to eat when you leave the house in a hurry on an empty stomach it's heaven! The elderly Thai woman who owns the cafe itself also gave me a can of coke free; she seems to be very fond of me for some reason, but I'm not one to refuse such generosity as a skint student. Must also try the Thai dishes there, as I've heard from friends how they're not at all bad.
Yesterday's long day of college went pretty well up until I realised I had been irresponsible and careless enough to have lost my weekly busspass. But not to worry, I plan to guard new one with my life now and someone's face managed to make me smile after journey from West Norwood to Dalston after 3 buses.
Glad the weekend's finally landed, though with 9 hour shift tomorrow will have the sunday and monday to recover.
